July has been a bumper month, not only with Squirtle community day classic (and a 2nd make-up event as a bonus), but rounding up squeezing another event in - this time another water Pokemon - the loveable Poliwag.
It was so good to see so many of you out/about for Squirtle (9th July) and great to meet new players or new additions to the community (a special shout out to Max and Family).
That day proved beyond a doubt the shared joy of Pokemon Go, from chatting over coffee to the excitement of finding TWO perfect IV (Hundos) at Courtenay Park within 5 minutes.
Although we got a few funny looks and questions from non-players as to "what are you looking for?" as we enjoyed the walk in the sun, it was a really epic day - so thank you to all involved.
Tomorrow (Sunday 30th July - 2pm-5pm) it's Poliwag's time to shine.
A number of us will be meeting in Coffee Couture (Queens Street) at 1:30pm to fuel up before we start. Please feel free to join us, or just pop your head in to say hello.
If you're not sure of where we'll be, as an extra treat/incentive to seek us out, we'll be activating a GOLDEN LURE (or maybe 2!) - you can't miss us!
